After initialization, it’ll tell you that it can’t read the map. ![]() ![]() Start your ignition and press nav on your head unit.Take it to your vehicle and insert the card into the card reader.Once formatting is complete, you can copy and paste the original files from the Mazda SD card that you have saved on your computer to your new SD card.Be sure to name it “TomTom”, make sure it’s format is FAT32, and deselect quick format. Go to My Computers and format your new SDHC card.Once completed, eject your Mazda SD card and insert your new SDHC card that you picked.Allow TomTom HOME2 to do its updates and back up your device.Set up an account with TomTom and register your device.After installation is complete, insert your Mazda SD card.Once copying is complete, take out your SD card. Take your original Mazda SD card and make of copy of all the files on your computer.After 3 days of frustration and trying to figure out what I did wrong, I decided to make an easy step by step guide on how to upgrade your SD card for your TomTom Nav the correct way so you don’t have to go through the same pain I did. ![]()
